Who we are
Studio OS is sold by MNDWRX, operator of the MNDWRX Lemon Squeezy store. Contact: support@mndwrx.com (America/Chicago).
What you are buying
A one-time digital license to use Studio OS, the app at studioos.mndwrx.com/app. This is not a subscription (unless a future product page says otherwise), and not a cloud account, hosted SaaS, or promise of online sync.
License grant
- Use: personal / solo-studio use — one human operator for their own freelancing or small studio work.
- Seats: 1 seat unless a future product page says otherwise.
- Devices: one key works on up to 3 of that one operator’s devices. Remove the license on a device to free its slot.
- Transfer: not transferable, not resellable, not sublicensable. No free-for-all sharing of paid builds or keys.
- Agencies / teams: not included unless you buy a future team product we publish.
What the software does
Leads, clients, projects, proposals, invoices, the year, delivery handoff pages, and backup/restore, plus the lists for the kind of work you choose. The app runs in your browser on each device you use. Records stay in that browser’s storage unless you export a backup or turn on sync. Optional sync links up to 3 of your devices (the devices on your key) with a QR code or short code: records are end-to-end encrypted on your device before they travel, and our sync server stores only that encrypted data. Each new device confirms with a code emailed to the purchase address, and you can remove a device in Settings. Small delivery files can ride in a handoff page; large files are links you provide. Studio OS is not a file-hosting service.
The client Accept button on a proposal opens an acceptance email from your client’s own mail app. It is an emailed acceptance, not a certified e-signature. A Pay now button links to a payment page you provide; Studio OS does not process payments.
What we do not promise
- No uptime SLA. The app is served from GitHub Pages and the optional sync server runs on Cloudflare; your records live on your devices.
- No guarantee that every browser works. Current Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox are the target.
- No guarantee of compatibility with every future OS/browser forever.
- No uptime guarantee for sync, and no recovery of records you did not back up. Sync is a convenience, not a backup: we cannot read or restore your encrypted sync data, and a delete on one linked device reaches the others.
License keys & honesty
Keys are for entitlement and support. The app checks your key with Lemon Squeezy when you activate it, and again from time to time when online. Enter only a key you legitimately purchased. We may revoke a key after a refund, chargeback, or clear abuse (fraud, public key dumps).
Payments
Checkout and card handling are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record for platform sales). Prices are as listed on the sales page at purchase time (for example, a launch price that later rises). Applicable sales tax / VAT may be added or included per Lemon’s tax settings and your location.
Refunds
See our Refund policy. Short version: 14-day goodwill refund if the unused key / download won’t run after a reasonable try — email support with your Lemon order ID. Lemon may also issue refunds under their buyer terms (including to prevent chargebacks).
Updates
We may publish improved builds from time to time. A one-time purchase covers updates to Studio OS v1.x while this product line is maintained. It does not guarantee perpetual major-version upgrades forever.
Ownership
MNDWRX (or its licensors) owns the Studio OS software, brand, and docs. You own your studio data (clients, invoices, etc.) that you enter locally. Third-party open-source components remain under their own licenses.
Acceptable use
- No reverse-engineering for piracy, no public redistribution of paid builds or keys, no unlawful use.
- Handoff pages and links you create are your responsibility to share carefully. A link is only as private as the place it opens.
Disclaimer
Software is provided “as is” to the extent allowed by law. We are not your lawyer, accountant, or payroll system; PDFs and invoices are templates you review before sending.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, liability for this solo tool is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the prior 12 months, except where law forbids that limit.
Governing law & age
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States applicable where the operator resides (America/Chicago), without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. You must be 18+ (or have a parent/guardian purchase for you).
